A 7-year-old girl presented with a well-demarcated, circumoral hyperpigmentation of 2 months duration. The family admited presence of continuous lip licking habit of their daughter.

Strawberry hemangioma
A 2-month-old infant presented with a strawberry-colored vascular plaque on the abdomen, the onset of which was since birth.
Nodular scabies
A 25-year-old male presented with severely pruritic, red, rubbery nodules on the scrotum and penis of one month duration. Family history of scabies was positive. The patient had been treated with 10% sulfur in petrolatum for three consequative night with good response.
Melasma
A 32-year-old multiparous woman with history pf brownish hyperpigmented patches involving the butterfly region of the face since first pregnancy After each of the four previous pregnancies the rash improved spontaneously but partially. Now, one year after the last pregnancy the rash persisted didn’t improved. She has been put on combination of hydroquinone 4% cream plus mometasone furoate 0.1% cream once application at night.
Palmar psoriasis
Plaque psoriasis of the palms and/or soles may be one of the difficult-to- treat types of psoriasis. However, it may present with few patches or plaques with mild desquamation as in this 35-year-old man who had has few lesions confined to the palms only of more than one year duration.
Verruca plana
A 5-year old boy presented with few brownish flat-topped papules on the cheek of three months duration. Retin-A 0.05% cream twice daily resulted in cure in spite of mild irritation.
Hyperpigmented pityriasis versicolor
Pityriasis versicolor may assume 3 clinical forms: Erythematous, hyperpigmented and hypopigmented rash. Here is a 34-year-old male presented with asymptomatic hyperpigmented brownish slightly scaly patches at the neck region of many months duration. One or more clinical forms may be found in one patient and to accentuate the fine scaly nature of the rash you may need to gently scrape or stretch these patches.
Plaque Psoriasis
A 41-year old lady with 7 years history of well-demarcated, fiery red plaques covered with characteristic white scales involved mainly the extremities and scalp and less on the trunk. The rash has affected about 25% of the body surface area. She was put on methotrexate 15 mg per week orally.
