A 70-year-old man presented with advanced lepromatous leprosy of more than a decade duration. The main features shown are madarosis (loss of hair from outer parts of the eyebrows) and characteristic saddle nose (side profile). Among other features of LL which the patient have had are hand contractures and resorption of plalangeal bones.
A very interesting case with typical iris-like lesions involved the extensor surface of both forearms and wrist areas of 10 days duration in a 20-year-old female. She had no previous history of drug intake or preceding systemic or cutaneous infection.
A 35-year-old housewife presented with painful nodule with central superficial erosion and seems to be pus-containing on the dorsal surface of the thumb of 2 weeks duration. She gave history of contact with sheep’s head on cooking few days before the appearance of the lesion.
A 66-year-old man presented with a solitary horny digitate projection arose from an erythematous base on the upper part of the chest of six months duration. Biopsy of the lesion showed actinic keratosis at the base of the horn.
An 80-year-old man presented with an asymptomatic, dome-shaped, pinkish-red nodule with central crater filled with heaped-up keratin involved the leg of 10 months duration. It has been excised with a suitable safe margin and sent for HP examination which was consistent with KA.
Pustular psoriasis started at the second trimester of first pregnancy three years ago and resolved after delivery. Few exacerbations occurred when the patient had used contraceptive pills. At this pregnancy it has reoccurred with the onset at second trimester with many grouped pustules on erythematous bases involved the trunk mainly the abdomen of this 30-year-old woman.
A 75-year-old man presented with a small dark-red to brownish dome-shaped slightly crusted nodule developed within an irregularly-shaped congenital melanocytic nevus. The nodule has been noticed six months before presentation. It has been excised with a suitable safe margin and sent for histologic examination which revealed a nodular melanoma with malignant melanocytes reaching to mid dermis level.
A 7-year-old boy presented with an asymptomatic, bilateral symmetrical cirbriform (honeycomb) atrophy of the cheeks since birth. There was no associated heart or neurological disease.
