Lichen simplex chronicus

History

          A 46-year-old woman presented with a unilateral hyperpigmented lichenified plaques characterized by paroxysmal itching involved one leg of three years duration. Skin biopsy was in favour of LSC versus LP hypertrophicus.

Lip-licker dermatitis

History

      An 8-year-old boy with history of atopic dermatitis presented with well-defined hypopigmented scaly dermatitis with some crustation at the periphery of the rash. History of continuous liplicking was positive.

Lichen simplex chronicus

History

          A 52-year-old man complained a very itchy skin lesion on the front of the ankle of his left foot. The itching was paroxysmal and severe. On examination, there was a well-defined, thickened and hyperpigmented large plaque with exaggerated skin lines spreading across the front of the ankle region.

Allergic contact dermatitis

History

       A young adult female presented with a unilateral red scaly patch associated with burning sensation confined to one axilla of one week duration. The rash appeared one to two days after applying antiprespirant spray.
