A 66-year-old man presented with an asymptomatic, erythematous, partially crusted, indurated plaque with well-demarcated polycyclic border involved the right shoulder area (upper back) of more than 5 years duration. Biopsy was consistent with Bowen’s disease.
Two months after surgical drainage of a boil in the middle of the chest an irregular, well-circumscribed, flesh-colored, hard fibrous nodule developed.
A 77-year-old woman three years after surgical removal of ulcerative BCC noticed the appearance of new lesion at the periphery of the scar scar of previous operation. On examination, a superficial ulcer with thread-like beaded border was seen. Excisional biopsy with a suitable safe margin was done. Biopsy confirmed a completely excised ulcerative BCC.
A 75-year-old man presented with an asymptomatic, oval, slightly crusted red patch with thread-like border on the side of the nose of one year duration. Excisional biopsy with safe margin has removed the tumor totally.
A 38-year-old woman presented with multiple, tender, skin-colored to pinkish papules and nodules that were characteristically painful on cold exposure of one year duration. Skin biopsy showed leiomyoma.
A 20-year-old female presented with a large nodular plexiform neurofibroma involved the arm in addition to tother manifestations of neurofibromatosis-1. Another giant plexiform neurofibroma had been surgically removed at age of 12 years (evidenced by long wide scar).
A 45-year-old man has had long history of lichen simplex chronicus at the right lower leg of > 5 years duration. At last one and a half year an ulcer has developed and progressed slowly. O/E, an ulcer about 12X7 cm with an irregular outline, clean red base and punched out border surrounded by thickened dyspigmented skin was seen. Incisional biopsy revealed SCC.
A 62-year-old woman had been diagnosed as BCC of the scalp 3 years ago treated with curettage and cautery at that time. After 2 years of treatment a new ulcer appeared at the site of previous treatment and within one year a rodent ulcer with a rolled up irregular border of about 7 cm diameter was established. Incisional biopsy proved ulcerative BCC.
