Cutaneous leishmaniasis

History

          Multiple, asymptomatic, indurated, crusted, red ulcerative nodules on the legs of three months duration in a 10-year-old girl.

Unilateral acrocyanosis

History

          A 36-year-old man presented with an idiopathic unilateral cyanosis and swelling confined only to the right hand of many months duration. He has had no history of any underlying condition.

Anetoderma

History

          A 24-year-old male presented with a pinkish nodule on the right shoulder of many months duration. The lesion was asymptomatic, seemed to be hollow on palpation with positive button hole sign. He has no associated systemic disease or a primary skin disease in the affected area prior to the appearance of the lesion. 

Acquired nevus flammeus

History

          A large unilateral nevus flammeus involved the right side of the face and part of the surrounding neck of four years duration in a 22-year-old female. No history of corticosteroid application to the involved site was given.

Atrophoderma vermiculatum

History

       A 9-year-old boy presented with honey-comb like atrophy on both cheeks. The face was symmetrically involved by numerous closely crowded small areas of atrophy separated by narrow ridges, producing a cribriform or honeycomb surface. He had no associated other diseases, such as congenital heart block, other cardiac anomalies, neurofibromatosis, oligophrenia, or Down syndrome.

History

          This 26-year-old man was bothered by many atrophic scars on the cheeks as a result of severe acne vulgaris .many years ago. Which therapeutic option is the best: CO2 laser, dermabrasion or chemical peeling?

Acral lentiginous melanoma

History

         An asymptomatic, irregularly-shaped, hyperpigmented patch 8 cm in greatest diameter involved the side of one foot of more than one year duration in a 50-year-old woman. Skin biopsy disclosed acral lentiginous melanoma.  There was no lymph node enlargement or distant metastasis.
