Melasma-like lichen planus actinicus

A 28-year-old military man suffered a recent increased darkening of the face at last summer months. He presented with diffuse hyperpigmented patches on the face simulating melasma.

Seborrheic keratosis

A 75-year-old man presented with an asymptomatic, rounded, hyperpigmented plaque with verrocous finely fissured surface involved the lateral part of the cheek of many years duration. It has been successfully curated and electrofulgarated under LA.

Psoriasis

A 30-year-old man who is a known case of plaque psoriasis since 8 years presented with many classical well-demarcated red scaly plaques mainly on the extremities with minimal trunk involvement. Psoriatic plaques may take different shapes and sizes. Some lesions may be described as map-like,  the presented lesion was on the shin and may be an example of such shape.

Pigmented nodulo-ulcerative BCC

A 72-year-old rural woman presented with an asymptomatic, large, pigmented nodulo-ulcerative lesion on the left side of the anterior chest of 4-5 years duration. The lesion was nearly rounded and about 6-7 centimeters in greatest diameter with pigmented rolled-up border. Clinically was diagnosed as ulcerative BCC and it has been excised totally with an about 0.5 cm safe margin and sutured in 2 layers under local anesthesia. Histopathologically, was consistent with totally excised ulcerative BCC.

Multiple seborrheic keratosis

A 65-year-old man presented with multiple, asymptomatic, hyperpigmented, verrucous plaques with a velvety-like surface invomlved the face, trunk and extremities of many years duration. Many lesions especially those cosmetically significant were threated through many sessions of cryotherapy.

Postmastectomy lymphangioma circumscriptum

A 70-year-old lady with past history of left-sided mastectomy for Ca breast since 18 years. She presented with a progressive ipsilateral upper limb swelling. Many tense blisters of variable size developed in some areas especially the dorsum of the hand and near the wrist area. On pncturing of few vesicles, a clear fluid was emerged. Lymphangioma circumscriptum complicating chronic lymphedema following mastectomy has been reported on many occasions.

Widespread Morphea

A 45-year-old woman presented with indurated plaques involved large portions of  the trunk and extremities of 5 years duration. On examination, wide spread sclerotic indurated areas with hyperpigmentation were seen. Serological tests for connective tissue disease were non-reactive and skin biopsy was consistent with morphea. The patient has been treated with an oral hydroxychloroquine 400 mg/day plus topical corticosteroid.
