B-cell lymphoma

History

           An 82-year-old man presented with multiple, asymptomatic, indurative and infiltrative erythematous nodules and plaques involved mainly the face and also the trunk of one year duration. Biopsy revealed B-cell lymphomatous infiltrate. Mediastinal and cervical lymph nodes were involved in addition to hepatosplenomegally.

Benign cephalic histiocytosis

History

           A 14-month-old male infant presented with asymptomatic, red-yellowish, few millimeters in diameter infiltrative papules involved the cheeks of 6 months duration. The mucosae and viscera were not involved. Skin biopsy showed dermal infiltration with non-lipidized histiocytes.

Acral lentiginous melanoma

History

         An asymptomatic, irregularly-shaped, hyperpigmented patch 8 cm in greatest diameter involved the side of one foot of more than one year duration in a 50-year-old woman. Skin biopsy disclosed acral lentiginous melanoma.  There was no lymph node enlargement or distant metastasis.

Acral fibrokeratoma

History

           A 40-year-old man presented with a pinkish, hyperkeratotic, hornlike projection emerged from the tip of the big toe toe of more than one year duration. At the base of the projection there was a collarette of elevated skin.

Bowen’s disease

History

        A very interesting case of a 75-year-old Russian woman lives in Iraq since many decades. She presented with an asymptomatic, slowly enlarging, well-circumscribed, slightly infiltrative, large psoriasiform plaque on the back of more than 5 years duration. Skin biopsy showed typical histologic appearance of Bowen’s disease.
